Over the past three weeks I have more or less put the Glowbek aside, focusing instead on my local hackerspace‘s latest acquisition: a 60W laser cutter/engraver.
it’s over nine thousand.
You’re probably asking what I’m doing having newly gained access to such a machine. Well, the first thing I’d do is
talk to Corporate make some engraving gauges.
Boom boom doum… bek.
The results are in: an Arduino connected via header pins, and loosely-attached prototyping boards are insufficient to handle being carried and played while dancing. It did, however, prove sturdy enough to be transported, handled, and played around a campsite.
